Mr John Spark the present owner of High Blaithwaite Farm has a small parcel of letters concerning the negotiations for Building the Bolton Loop Railway through High Blaithwaite. He has put together a document outlining these negotiations between the landowner and Carlisle and Maryport Railway. These letters provide an interesting insight into how detailed the negotiations were between all parties concerned and I would like to thank Mr & Mrs Spark for allowing me to show them on the website.
