These pictures were taken between 1900 and 1928 by THOMAS IRWIN HAYTON of Wigton, Cumberland (Farmer & Chemist) - He married his first cousin Mary Wetherall who was eight years his junior and they had a son named Lewis Winchester Hayton. Thomas & Mary retired to the Isle of Wight in 1927 and Thomas died at his Isle of Wight home at the age of 89 Years. Before retirement they lived at Border Farm, Wigton, Cumberland. During his life, Thomas travelled England & Scotland and knew both London & his local area very well.
