The first part of the line in the pictures below is the Cleator and Workington Junction railway as it leaves the line heading for Distington just before what was High Harrington Station. It then crossed Church Street were the bridge has now been demolished with two overbridges before reaching Archer Street Halt followed by Rosehill Junction which is were the Lowca Light Railway began. The pathway which ran along side the line climbs steeply to Copperas Hill with its staion buildings now in ruins. From here the track is now part of the Cumbria Coastal Path nearly as far as Micklam were it turns left to Micklam through private land and on to Lowca.
