The gradient from Rosehill Junction to Copperas Hill Station was 1 in 17 and was believed to be steepest adhesion operated gradient in the country for passenger trains. The station opened 2nd JUne 1913 and was probably closed in 1921 as it disappeared from the timetable in that year. All that remains today at Copperas Hill are part of the platform and the brick built station building.
