This project is a look at the coast of Cumbria and its railways. My journey documenting the Cumbrian coast took me from Port Carlisle and Bowness on Solway, down to Grange-over-Sands. This project was my final major project of my third year at Cumbria Institute of the Arts.

Sellafield - Station used by workers at Sellafield
Silloth - Station. Built in 1856 to serve the docks and closed in 1964
Whitehaven - Remains of railway tracks along the west pier
Workington – Railway connecting the now-closed steel works to the docks
